Maddi Bourgerie is a dynamic marketing and communications professional with 7+ years of experience in media and influencer relations, social media, branding and publicity. Bourgerie started her career at HomeAway, in the up-and-coming vacation rental industry, managing the consumer and lifestyle communications strategy.

Today, she consults for a number of hospitality and travel companies. She is a media relations expert that holds relationships with national and regional lifestyle, travel and luxury journalists and has landed stories in a wide variety of publications and media outlets.

Bourgerie founded and implemented HomeAway’s influencer program during her time at the travel company. Bourgerie is a pro at planning influencer trips and loves sharing the experience of travel with bloggers and journalists around the world. She has worked with a number of destinations, hotels and resorts planning and implementing press trips that impact the bottom line.

Bourgerie graduated from Auburn University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in marketing.


Bourgerie is from the Midwest but grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, attended college in Auburn, Alabama and kicked off a career in Austin, Texas. Her family resides in Indianapolis, Indiana where she attended high school. She made Austin home five years ago and loves life in the Live Music Capital.
